Our CrossFit Foundations course is our exciting introduction to the world of CrossFit and your new active lifestyle. Your foundations package includes five -six 30 min sessions which is required for anyone who is new to CrossFit. You can schedule your No Sweat intro HERE using the calendar provided when a time is convenient for you.
Our primary goal in these one-on-one sessions is to prepare you to join the group CrossFit classes with confidence. You will learn how to lift safely and efficiently with lighter weight. Our focus will be on developing a strong technical base. We will slowly add more movements and weight once you are ready.
Under our guidance, you’ll have the chance to push yourself and put your new skills to the test. This program brings results! During the course of your Foundations training, your body will begin to rapidly change. We’ll encourage you to take before and after pictures to help capture your transformation.
No matter what your goals, our professional staff can help you achieve them through personal training. Our trainers specialize in a variety of disciplines.
Our staff helps you define your fitness goals. We take into account your current fitness level and discuss what you want to achieve through your workouts. While you may have some idea of the goals you want to set, our coaching staff is able to help you break them down into smaller goals that are specific and realistic. Your coach will also help assess your progress toward those goals.
A CFP professional trainer will teach you the proper way to perform each exercise movement in your workout. She or he will demonstrate the movement and watch you perform it so he or she can correct any issues with your posture or technique. Learning how to perform exercises properly reduces your risk of injury. You also will be able to do the exercises on your own at home or at the gym after getting professional fitness instruction.
Another common problem is lack of commitment to a regular exercise program. When you exercise on your own, it is easier to skip a session here and there or fall off the wagon completely since there’s no one to hold you accountable for you actions. When you work with a trainer, he or she keeps you accountable, making it more likely that you’ll stick with your training program.
Our staff will teach you a variety of exercise methods, using the CrossFit model which can keep you from getting bored. Also, if a specific exercise does not work for you, the trainer can change it or scale it to one that suits you better and provides the same physical benefits. Trainers also help you to make adjustments as your fitness level improves to ensure continued progress.
CrossFit Group Training – Fitness
Our Fitness program is ideal for anyone in their CrossFit Journey who wants to have a well rounded fitness level. Our goal is a strong GPP, or General Physical Preparedness. Basically, you are competent and excel in the 10 general aspects of fitness(cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy). Everyday life throws so many challenges your way, the known and unknowable, Fitness is measured by your capacity to perform well at these tasks. The fitness that CrossFit advocates and develops is deliberately broad, general, and inclusive.
INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMMING DESIGN
Personal Programming is great for those athletes that want to become competitive and have mastered the CrossFit movements. Your coach will prepare a training program individualized specifically with your strengths and weaknesses in mind. You can come to open gym and complete your work. This is done on your own with minimal supervision. You will report your results to your coach who will then use those for future program design
Nutrition is the foundation to health, fitness and wellness. Proper nutrition will assist in weight loss, strength gain and improved performance.
